What personal data we collect
- Enquiries: if you contact us by email or through the contact form (your message is passed to our mailbox by our form-delivery provider, FormSubmit, which acts as a processor for this purpose), we receive the details you choose to send — typically your name, email address and message.
- Clients: if we are engaged to work for you, we will collect the information needed to deliver the agreed services, as set out in our engagement terms.
- Hosting logs: our website host may keep standard technical server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
How and why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry — legitimate interests / steps prior to entering into a contract.
- To provide agreed services and meet our legal obligations (for example record keeping and any applicable anti-money-laundering checks) — contract and legal obligation.
- To keep our website and systems secure — legitimate interests.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making that has legal effects on you.
Sharing and international transfers
We share data only with service providers who help us operate (for example email, cloud storage and website hosting) and where required by law. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become engagements are kept for no longer than 12 months. Client records are kept for the period needed to deliver services and meet legal and professional retention requirements.
